"The whole course of human history may depend on a change of heart in one solitary and even humble individual - for it is in the solitary mind and soul of the individual that the battle between good and evil is waged and ultimately won or lost."

WHITE DOLPHINS
by Paula Peterson
Many years ago - as a deep trance channel - I connected with a pod of dolphins by way of telepathy (or more accurately - tel-empathy). Tele-em is not limited by distance and this particular pod of dolphins was located in Pacific-Indonesian waters: at least, that is what one of the dolphins "told" me.
Not only that, the dolphin who communicated with me explained that he was a "specific Pacific" dolphin that was white. Further more, he was considered a "wise-one" because he was the eldest of his pod and his white-ness was the external indicator. He was particularly humorous and mentioned that his pod mostly hung out in the waters of Indonesia but also "vacationed" in the waters of Australia and even over toward Hawaiian waters.
While some of you may be rolling your eyes at this point, I know full well that I have no way of proving any of this. I had never heard of white dolphins and I certainly knew nothing about their migration habits. And I had never been anywhere near Pacific-Indonesian waters.
Over a span of several years, I received volumnes of communications, impressions, visions, energy and upliftment from this dolphin and his "tribe". Then the connection faded - which I suppose had a lot to do with a major turning point in my life.
I haven't had much in the way of telepathic communication with them since then - save for a few fleeting glimmers and flashes in my mind and brief energy rushes up and down my spine - which always accompanied their telempathic communications. It seemed to be their way of saying "we're still here and think about you". These short "notes" have been the only messages from them for the past few years - a mere snippet compared to all those long "love" songs and "letters" of before.
I have often wondered why those telempathic experiences were so prevalent during all those years and what it was really all about.
It was immensely enjoyable - as well as heart-opening - to have had that kind of connection with an extraordinary white dolphin - and there have been times that I have deeply missed it.
However, like many of my other "mystical" and hard to explain experiences, it was something I could share with very few people. It became another event that I had to shelve away in "the closet" of my memories so that I could take care of more immediate and earthly matters.
Then the other night, while speaking with a friend on the phone, I was drawn to do a bit of internet research on Lantau Island off the coast of China of which he spoke of highly. While perusing page after page of stunning geographical images of tropical forests, isolated beaches and rugged mountains I suddenly landed on a page which reported on the local dolphin pods that frequented the Pacific-Indonesian waters north of Lantau Island . . . and lo and behold - they were white!
The article went on to state that although their "home" was north of Lantau Island, they often migrate to Australia - even occasionally off the coast of Hawaii - at certain times of the year!
One of their interesting characteristics is that this species of dolphin are born dark, almost black, turn pink through the adult stage and gradually become white over the years. When they are considered mature or elderly, they are completely white.
Well ... what can I say? My eyes nearly popped out of my head! So am I destined to travel to this place at some time in my life to meet these dolphins face to face? They "told" me years ago that, indeed, I would have just such an opportunity. We shall see.
In the mean time, these white dolphins are listed as an endangered species.
The usual unregulated fishing techniques of Asian and Japanese cultures are wiping out dolphin populations at a staggering rate. They die often and are simply thrown back out to sea as "trash fish". 'Tis a sad state of affairs for an intelligent species - considered by some scientists to be our ancestral and genetic "kin".
"The Chinese White Dolphins are internationally recognised as being vulnerable due to their close proximity to mankind and their activities. In Hong Kong these threats include: competition for food; disturbance from shipping traffic; habitat loss through development and pollution from cities, industry and agriculture. All of these threats exert what is believed to be tremendous pressure on the dolphin population".
